A few things about us, and about a career with us-

We don’t want to make a lot of promises about how awesome your/ our future will be, or the unimaginable impact everything you/ we touch will have. We do hope and believe that there will be some impact. We are a young startup.  We plan to build some nice analytical solutions/ products. We do a lot of analytics advisory. We are bootstrapped and significantly profitable.

And we want to keep adding some nice folks to our nice little family!

And you want to take a well calculated risk by working with a startup which is, so far, doing reasonably well.

We have an open vacation policy. Rather, we have very few policies. We trust your judgement so that we do not have to maintain records of when you took a break, when you worked from home, or when you left early.

We have a near zero hierarchy.

We have a PS3 console, and our favorite bashing game is Call of Duty (it has a decent local free-for-all mode).

We think we pay well, but we are also quite sure we are not your 12 month retirement plan. Unlike many other startups, we have no problems whatsoever paying our people and vendors and partners on time.

 

 

1. Analytics Manager

 

Role and responsibilities:

Most of the expectations below should not surprise you, but we don’t want you to come unprepared, right!

  • Analytics manager is a leadership role and will be responsible for delivering a great client experience.
  • Effective project management and delivery of consistently high standard of work ensuring deadlines are met, operational hurdles are understood and insights are delivered in an actionable format.
  • Work with the team to solve client business problems by translating them into an analytics problem solving framework. Solve business problems using advanced analytics, develop sophisticated solutions and actionable insights.
  • Build strong relationships with client(s) and develop good understanding of the client organization, business, strategies and objectives to optimize engagements and revenue.
  • Actively manage engagement/ client revenue and P&L, and identify opportunities for growth within the client account. Manage team utilization, resource management and planning, program management and communication.
  • Be responsible for hiring analytics professionals. Training and grooming the newly hired folks.
  • Play an active role in firm development and pre-sales activities.

Qualifications:

  • 4-6+ years of experience solving business problems in 1-2 domains; Pharma/ Healthcare/ Financial Services etc.
  • Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
  • Good logical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Hands-on experience on R/SAS or equivalent tools for analytics modelling as well as visualization tools such as Tableau/ Qlik/ etc.
  • Knowledge of statistical modelling, survey analytics, conjoint models, etc.

 

2. Senior Associate/ Associate:

 

Role and responsibilities:

  • Being agile. Willingness to learn as and when required for the project. Believes in “Learning is more important than knowing”.
  • Ability to synthesize the information from the call with client and help structure it into an analytical problem.
  • Ability to work with messy data from a wide variety of sources. Willingness to get his/her hand dirty with data.
  • Comfort with R/SAS, and equivalent software.
  • Ability to work in an entrepreneurial environment with limited oversight and high level of independence.
  • Responsible for providing analytical solutions for given client business problem.
  • Challenge and improve the current analytical process. Create algorithms/ design solutions which helps increase efficiency in current process.
  • An open mind and amiable personality with good comfort level in interacting and motivating people from diverse cultures.

Qualifications:

Senior Associate:

  • 2-5 years of experience
  • Good logical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Good communication skills (listening, writing, reading)
  • Hands-on experience on R/SAS or equivalent tools

Associate:

  • 0-2 years of experience
  • Good logical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Good communication skills (listening, writing, reading)
  • Hands-on experience on Excel

 

3. Product Developer

 

We are looking for a passionate developer who wants to push technologies to the limits and will work with our team to design and build the next generation products and applications in on Web / Mobile / IoT Space. Candidates with passion for programming and algorithms will be preferred.
 
Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Work on projects involving extreme automation of solution development, packaging, distribution and deployment
  • Work with volumes of data and ensure best practices are followed to maximize efficiency and security
  • Work on consuming alternate digital data sources from mobile, web, social, and open API’s
  • Design and build advanced proprietary applications
  • Collaborate with team to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
  • Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
  • Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
  • Ongoing maintenance of live apps 
  • Affinity for python programming is highly preferable, But generally a hardcore programmer/problem solver

Requirements:

  • BS/BE/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
  • Proven working experience in software development
  • Strong with Databases, SQL Language
  • Solid understanding of the full development life cycle
  • Experience with third-party libraries and APIs

Skills:

Python, PHP, Javascript, jQuery, AJAX, MySQL, Web Development, HTML5 & CSS3
